ANIMAL POEMS FOR CHILDREN: 'SONGS FROM THE JUNGLE'

by Pushpinder Kaur (Author), RIDA MAHEK

The idea of the Jungle triggers children's imagination as it fills them with excitement and passion. They wish to interact with animals just as at the same time, they fear them. Reading poems about animals is a passion with many children. This series aims to inspire children to engage in being a part of the animal kingdom and to be inspired to pour out their thoughts and feelings about animals. ‘Animal Poems for Children’ aim to motivate them to become budding poets as they may try to pour out their ideas about animals, followed by their artistic renderings through drawings carved by their imagination.

Illustrated Storyboards for Young Learners

Our storyboards present a complete story through a sequence of clear, colourful pictures.

Children can follow each scene step by step and understand:

Beginning → Problem → Adventure → Solution → Ending

This visual approach makes storytelling easier for children and helps them organise their ideas before speaking or writing.

Every adventure gives learners opportunities to practise English naturally while enjoying the story.

Learn With Stories

Look • Read • Think • Speak • Write

Our storyboards can be used in several ways.

A child can first look at the picture, then read the sentence, explain what is happening, predict what may happen next and finally retell or write the complete story.

This makes every storyboard much more than a picture story; it becomes a complete English-learning activity.

Perfect for Different Age Groups

Our stories can be designed for different learning levels and age groups, including young beginners and more confident English learners.

The vocabulary, sentence length, storyline and activities can be adapted according to the child's age and ability.

Great for Parents, Teachers and Homeschoolers

Kaur Online English storyboards and digital flipbooks can be used for:

classroom teaching, online English lessons, home learning, reading practice, speaking activities, creative writing, holiday assignments and independent learning.

Teachers can also use the pictures as prompts for discussions, vocabulary exercises, comprehension questions and story-writing activities.

From Pictures to Powerful English

A picture gives a child something to observe.

A sentence gives the child something to read.

A story gives the child something to understand.

And storytelling gives the child something to say and create.

That is why visual storytelling can be such an effective way to build English-language confidence.
